Soaring 14 feet tall in the sitting position, Halvor Flowstone is a must see for tourists when visiting or passing through Glenwood Springs. Nicknamed 'Protector of the Cave', this jovial mountain troll can be found on Iron Mountain Trail. Stories say that Halvor, meaning 'Defender of the Rock' in Old Norse, was born inside of Iron Mountain some time ago and now resides in the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Add an adventure to your list this... this is a trip for the entire family!
